Currently pursuing my Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Hans J Seifert at the University of Freiberg, Germany.

The aim of my research is to improve the creep resistance and fracture toughness of γ-Ti-Al-Nb alloys for high temperature applications in aerospace and land-based power generation turbines. A two phase alloy composition of γ-TiAl (+Nb) and σ-Nb₂Al (+Ti) will be fabricated that should exhibit good creep resistance and ductility. Specifically, I will develop and use thermodynamic databases to calculate phase diagrams, phase fraction diagrams, and phase compositions to tailor experiments for microstructure development.
